Bread roll service

We work with bread roll order lists. The list is displayed in front of the reception window. Bread rolls must be pre-ordered for the following day by 4.00 pm. You are welcome to give us your bread roll order by telephone or e-mail. You can find our available bread rolls here.

Our bread roll service is currently on winter break. We will start again at the beginning of the NRW Easter holidays 2024.

Rest periods and barrier closing times

There is a lunch break from 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm. In the evening from 11.00 p.m. it is night time. Motor vehicles are not permitted on the campsite during the midday rest period and in the evening from 10.00 pm to 7.00 am. The barrier system is only open for medical emergencies. Please show consideration for your fellow guests! The barrier and entrance area of the campsite is under video surveillance.

Uneven surfaces

Our pitches have a slope to allow the water to drain away better in bad weather and rain. Due to the stony Sauerland soil, the pitches are not always completely flat. We recommend that you bring wheel chocks to level out uneven ground.

Dogs

Dogs with camping experience are very welcome here. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per tent/pitch. Dogs that are listed in the NRW state dog law are prohibited on the campsite. The campsite has a dog shower and a fenced-in dog meadow. You can find out more about our dog facilities here. For our dog owners and the four-legged guests there are certain rules, which must be observed. Please read these before you arrive. We take it for granted that every dog owner brings their own poo bags. Additional poo bags can be taken from the dog station opposite the shop and at the dog meadow.

Restaurant tips

Around 500 metres from the campsite, and therefore within walking distance, is the „Restaurant Gut Kalberschnacke“. There is currently a change of tenant at "Restaurant Gut Kalberschnacke". It is not yet clear when it will reopen. Very tasty food is also available in the „Landhotel Dumicketal“ in the village of Dumicke. The restaurant is only a few minutes away by car, but can also be easily reached on foot - combined with a short walk directly from the campsite. Booking is recommended. More choice? A very good choice is also the Restaurant „Fischerheim“, direkt am Listersee – allerdings auf der anderen Seeseite – im Ort Windebruch gelegen. Um Vorab-Reservierung wird gebeten. Direkt über den Listerrandweg ist das Panorama-Restaurant „Schnütgenhof“ can also be reached on foot.

Internet & Wifi

The "Kalberschnacker Free Wifi" network can be used free of charge by our guests near the reception, dialling in is possible without a password.

The connection is relatively stable, but unfortunately we don't have a DSL connection due to our idyllic location. It is sufficient for checking emails or messages, but not for watching films or videos. We are in constant dialogue with the relevant authorities to improve the situation.

Electricity & water supply

Our tourist pitches and parcelled-out tent pitches (Z1, Z2, Z14, Z15, Z22, Z22A and Z23) have a supply column: electricity and water can be connected quickly and easily by the guest. The fuse protection for the power connection is 10 amps. Only pitches M26 to M30 on the market have only one power connection. You can find a map of the pitches here.

Only a limited number of power connections are available on the Hahnenplatz, Starenweg and Rabengrund tent meadows. A long cable drum (at least 25 metres) is required for the power connection.

5 kwh of electricity are included per overnight stay, the additional consumption is charged at our current rate according to Price list settled.

Charging e-cars and hybrids is not permitted.

Heating with electric heaters or fan heaters is also not permitted.

A CEE plug (blue, three-pin) is required for the power connection.

Please note that in the winter months - from the beginning of November to around the beginning of April - the water is turned off at the individual pitches and tent sites and at the water points due to the risk of frost.
