Location
The Gut Kalberschnacke camping site is laid out on terraces above the Listersee, a tributary of the Biggesee. It offers a sweeping view of the forests and hills of the Ebbegebirge Nature Park as far as the Nordhelle. The campsite is separated from the Listersee by a small road. However, the lake is within walking distance.
Arrival by car & camper
From the A 45 (Dortmund - Frankfurt) take exit no. 17 Drolshagen- Bergneustadt, turn off in the direction of Biggesee, cross the villages of Schreibershof and Herpel, then do not cross the bridge but drive straight on after about 700m to the campsite. From the A 4 to Olper Kreuz, then on the A 45 towards Dortmund, exit as above.
Arrival by public transport and/or bicycle
The RB92 Biggesee Express runs every hour from Finnentrop to Olpe and back.
From May to September, you can get off at the "Attendorn Hohen-Hagen" stop.
The most chilled route takes you directly along the Listersee lake to the campsite in approx. 5.5 km: first take the L512 road in the direction of Attendorn as far as the Lister yacht club, cross the road at the traffic lights and then cycle comfortably along the cycle path to the campsite.
